What we collect, and when

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to give us through the contact form: your name, your company (optional), your email address, your phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, and the message you write. We also record the date and time the form was sent and the IP address it was sent from, which helps us identify and block spam.

If you simply browse the site, we do not collect personal information about you. See the cookie policy for the small number of technical cookies the site uses.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use the details from the contact form for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to arrange and carry out the work you have asked about. Our lawful basis is that this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell or share them for anyone else’s marketing.

Where your information goes

When you send the form, your message is emailed to info@suewhiteconsultants.co.uk and a copy is stored in the website’s own database so that it is not lost if an email goes astray. The website is hosted in the United Kingdom by 20i Ltd. Our email is handled by our own email provider. The enquiry form is protected against spam by Google reCAPTCHA, which means Google may process technical information about your visit when the form is displayed; Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

The website is designed and maintained on our behalf by Digital House, who may see submission data while supporting the site and act only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry submissions for 24 months from the date they were sent, after which they are deleted from the website database. If your enquiry leads to work, the information we need to carry out and account for that work is kept as part of our normal business records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email info@suewhiteconsultants.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change the way this website collects or uses personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
